What

A chance to take a new class and help shape future content

This first time class is loosely based on the book Corked, Tales of Advantage in Competitive Sports.  We can both reflect on that content and consider new content that matches the theme.

Where/Why

Class-time:  Wednesdays 4-7PM, Central Campus Classroom Building, UM

Students will get mini lectures, engage with recruited speakers, and work on project experiences to support the premise of the class.  The notion is resolve what's constituted as an advantage.

The book is an anthology of 26 stories about how fields, surfaces, tools, apparel, and other intangibles influence who wins.  We have common sports like baseball, basketball, golf, and hockey.  We also have stories on running tracks, jai alai fields, swimming, and curling, with the notion about how to plaommon spor
